Coconut cream pie. So rich, so creamy, so delicious!
I've never before enjoyed custard, but the custard in this pie is amazing! It's smooth and light with large coconut flakes--no diced pieces here! The coconut adds just the right amount of texture!
I love how uptempo this version of "The Very Thought of You" sung by Ella Fitzgerald is. Often this song is sung at a slow and deliberate tempo. Just as I gained appreciation for good custard in by sampling this pie, I gained new respect for "The Very Thought of You" after hearing this version!
