Easy Pasta

If you need a really fast and quick good meal, the best way to prepare is to keep a pound of cooked chicken, sausage, or ground beef in the freezer ready for use.  It's a great way to make sure you get protein even on the most hectic days.
And a great way to use that meat is in a pasta dish.  So just make this easy recipe and enjoy a great meal!

Sometimes we can prepare to have a day that is easier than harder!  To continue the "easy" theme, here's "Easy Does It" performed by the Oscar Peterson Trio.

EASY PASTA

½ cup sausage, cooked
4 ounces angel hair pasta
½ cup bottled pasta sauce
2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese
  1. Put water in saucepan to boil.  Add cooked sausage before the water boils.
  2. Add angel hair pasta and cook al dente, for about 4 minutes boiling over medium heat.
  3. Drain pasta and sausage in a small-hole strainer.
  4. Put pasta and sausage back in hot saucepan then add pasta sauce returning to stove over medium heat.  Toss lightly to stir for 2 minutes until sauce is hot.
  5. Remove from heat.  Serve topped with Parmesan cheese.
